| Craig Fletcher
Thurs. at 7pm
Some of the most popular entertainers in the region,
Craig Fletcher and Teri Campillo have been playing together
for eight years. They play all favorite types of music
and their original songs. Teri provides back up vocals
several nights a week for Craig. Together, they make
a great team and great music. Craig can be seen performing
at Glen Eagles Restaurant in North Carson City on Tuesday,
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings and on Thursday
evenings at Adele's.
Craig Fletcher was born in San Francisco 49 years ago
and spent his defining music years in Oakland and Alemeda
and had a huge following there. At 16 years old, this
talented musician went professional playing Big Band
music in some of the bigger local hotels. When Craig
turned 18 he started a seven piece band called "Sweet
Success" and soon had a following of fans throughout
the bay area.
A consummate musician, Craig is also a songwriter and
has partnered for the past thirty years with Tim Ashley.
Together they have produced four CD's of original music
which will soon be ready for distribution, much to the
delight of his fans. So far, the pair has authored about
100 songs.
Chip Taylor and Carrie Rodgriguez - August
13th 2006
When Chip first saw Carrie play at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin Texas in 2001, he was not only wowed by the brilliance he heard in her playing, but also sensed a magical presence.
He invited her to join him on some subsequent shows in Texas and then a tour of Europe... and the rest is history.

Little Gyrations -
June 27th and 28th 2006
Directed by frontman Cassidy Lavorini, the Little
Gyrations use their musical endevor to explore
unusual perspectives about energy and humanity.
They use simple, refined musical ideas to focus
their listeners' attention on the creative lyrical
messages that they present. Combining deep grooves
you would hear at a backbeat blues house with
lyrics that explore prehistoric, microscopic worlds,
their music aims to provoke imagination. The Little
Gyrations present their bewildering song topics
with an enthusiastic intent to celebrate every
moment. Since the Little Gyrations emerged from
the jam band scene in 2004, they have remained
focused on creating surreal and insightful live
experiences. The Little Gyrations continue their
reptution by relentlessly delivering unpredictable
and diverse shows to their fans.

James
Beard Dinner - November 10, 2005
All performing
artists deserve a great stage. Musicians have Carnegie
Hall. Opera singers have The Metropolitan Opera House.
Chefs, winemakers and cookbook authors have The James
Beard House. On November 10th, 2005 Charlie Abowd, executive
chef and owner of Adele’s Restaurant & Lounge
in Carson City, Nev., was invited to take the stage
at The James Beard House and join the likes of such
culinary greats as Daniel Boulud, Nancy Oakes and Thomas
Keller.
More than 20 dinners, lunches and workshops are held
each month at The James Beard House to showcase culinary
artists from around the world.
"It was truly an honor to be asked and to be a
part of the James Beard experience and without the support
of all of our customers none of this would have been
possible. With our sincere appreciation and thanks-
Charlie and Karen"

Summer
Concert Series - 2005
Carson
City, Nev., (March 2, 2006) – Each summer Adele’s
hosts the Carson City Summer Concert Series outside
and under the stars. In 2004, multi-instrumentalist
David Lindley played a rare solo acoustic performance,
marking the first Northern Nevada performance in over
two years for the eclectic and colorful rocker, who
has played sideman to the likes of Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart,
Linda Ronstadt, Crosby and Nash, Warren Zevon, and most
notably, Jackson Browne (think guitar solo on “Runnin’
on Empty”).
Last summer’s
series included Men at Work’s Colin Hay, who secured
a place in pop music history with a series of melodically
infectious, invigorating singles marked by his instantly
recognizable voice and perceptive, witty lyrics. Kicking
off the series, Hay performed new works and selected
Men at Work hits. Greg Brown brought his recognizable
style of bluesy-folk infused with hillbilly and bluegrass
to a sold out crowd and Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks
closed out the series with a bang, delighting longtime
fans as well as new ones with his unique blend of swing,
jazz, folk and country.
The Summer Concert Series
is produced by Captain LittleTrip in conjunction with
the Brewery Arts Center and continuing support from
Carson City Redevelopment Authority. The intimate and
beautiful outdoor atmosphere at Adele's contains only
20 rows, so even the last row in the house promises
an exceptional view. With a true festival atmosphere,
the venue houses a fully stocked, premium liquor bar,
a wine bar and even a beer garden. Check back soon to
see what the 2006 summer concert series has in store!
Colin
Hay - July 12, 2005
As frontman and principle songwriter for the smash
group Men at Work, Colin Hay secured a place in pop
music history with a series of melodically infectious,
invigorating singles marked by his instantly recognizable
voice and perceptive, witty lyrics. Kicking off the
summer concert series at Adele’s Restaurant &
Lounge, Hay performed new works and selected Men at
Work hits outside and under the stars Tuesday, July
12. Since Men at Work broke up following the 1985 album
“Two Hearts,” Hay has released a series
of solo albums, reunited his old band with astonishing
success and watched as his songs continue to connect
with new fans the world over. Hay has played alongside
the likes of Prince and Joe Cocker, was invited to tour
as part of Ringo Starr’s All Starr Band and has
recently come off tour with Sting.

Greg
Brown - September 2, 2005
With a recognizable style of bluesy-folk infused with
hillbilly and bluegrass, Greg Brown's songwriting has
been lauded by many, and his songs have been performed
by Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, Michael Johnson, Shawn
Colvin, and Mary Chapin Carpenter. A prolific writer,
Brown puts out nearly one album per year. His critically
acclaimed 1996 release, Further In, received a four-star
review from Rolling Stone, which called Brown "a
wickedly sharp observer of the human condition."
1997's Slant 6 Mind (Red House Records) earned Brown
his second Grammy nomination. The recent "Going
Driftless: An Artist's Tribute to Greg Brown" (Red
House) featured Lucinda Williams, Ani DiFranco, Shawn
Colvin and Iris DeMent, whom Brown recently married.

Dan
Hicks and the Hot Licks - September 21, 2005
Dan Hicks closed out the summer concert series at Adele’s
Restaurant & Lounge with his unique, jazz-inspired
phrasing, his inimitable voice, and a versatile, stellar
band – the Hot Licks. Forty years ago, Dan Hicks
and the San Francisco folk-rock group he drummed for,
The Charlatans, got their first paying gig as the house
band for the new Red Dog Saloon in Virginia City, Nev.
Eventually, Hicks put together the acoustic combo billed
as Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, producing three critically
acclaimed albums. In 1973, Hicks began his solo career,
recording numerous commercial, television, and film
scores, and touring both as a solo act and as part of
the combo, The Acoustic Warriors. Now forty years since
his beginnings in the music industry, Hicks tours worldwide
with an updated version of the Hot Licks, and playing
various jazz venues as a vocalist. He is credited for
influencing generations of musicians, and he continues
to delight longtime fans as well as attract new ones
with his unique blend of swing, jazz, folk and country
into a mix he calls "Folk Jazz." In Dan Hicks
newest album, he collaborated with Jimmy Buffett and
Willie Nelson. Rickie Lee Jones calls him "an inspiration
and an influence," and Tom Waits says, "Dan
Hicks is fly, sly, wily and dry!" His irresistible
rhythms, hip lyrics, laid-back vocals, infamously dry
sense of humor, and impeccable taste in fashion will
make audiences fans for life.
